It is getting towards the end of the Summer and the crowds have already started to go home. Ours is a town that is pretty well dependant on visitors and without them we would live in a much different place. So it was good to see all three of our piers getting plenty of use today and good to see so many people enjoying the sun.
The Isle of Purbeck is a peninsula on the southern tip of the the county of Dorset in England. The photographs I take, hopefully, help to express how I feel about this magical place and show you things which you may see if you come to visit. I am a full time, professional photographer and have a gallery in Swanage. Please feel free to click on the picture to see it larger or to look at my other photographs. www.purbeckfootprints.co.uk

I bet you have mixed feelings about the tourists. They are what keeps the area and its economy strong, but it is nice to have the place to your selves, isn't it?

That is very true. It is sometimes difficult when the town is busy but it is good to know that so many people enjoy visiting somewhere we call home.
