Much More than the Family Fox

On an evening that was just about perfect; a bright sunset, slight warm breeze and plenty of time, I set off looking for the Foxes. It didn't take long to find them as two of the three kids were out playing, waiting for mum to return with food.
As the Sun went behind the hills a Cuckoo called from a tree not far away and a very healthy looking Roe buck leaped the fence completely unfazed by my presence.
To finish off the evening, as I started to walk home, a Barn Owl swept silently over the heath looking for dinner.
Not a bad evening at all!

Houns-tout

The walk from Kingston to Houns-tout is one of my favourites and I do it often. Yesterday I took a group on one of our Purbeck Footprints Weekend Wanderings  and it didn't disappoint.
The walk itself is always good, but the views are quite exceptional!

A Season of Dragons

At this time of year the Dragons appear and the macro lens gets over used. Photographing Dragon and Damselflies is always fun and I spend hours watching them.

Spending time staring out to sea is never a bad thing, being joined by a small group of Sandwich Terns just makes it better.
Bright blue skies here today, with a slight breeze taking the edge off of the Sunshine. Not bad at all.

An Evening With Family Fox

I have been watching this young family for a while now and earlier this week, on a beautiful golden evening, the kids came out to play.
