On a very stormy Sunday morning it is great to see the crews of the Swanage Lifeboats as they put in more practice hours.
The Isle of Purbeck is a peninsula on the southern tip of the the county of Dorset in England. The photographs I take, hopefully, help to express how I feel about this magical place and show you things which you may see if you come to visit. I am a full time, professional photographer and have a gallery in Swanage. Please feel free to click on the picture to see it larger or to look at my other photographs. www.purbeckfootprints.co.uk

The Humble Kestrel
Kestrels often hunt along the cliffs meaning that, if you are lucky, you get a 'side on' view of this lovely little bird while it has other things on its mind.

Floating Castle
As the mists rise from the fields and a weak Sun starts to burn a way through, Corfe Castle appears as if by magic.

Dolphins, 11 o'clock.
I have seen Dolphins from the cliffs at Durlston on the Isle of Purbeck on only three occasions, today being the third. Each time, it has been 11 o'clock on a Sunday Morning! Quite a coincidence.
Between fifteen and twenty Dolphins swam eastward following the cliffs. They drew quite a crowd too and made a lot of peoples day!
