I couldn't resist posting another shot from last night.
It is always good to see a healthy Fox in its own environment, knowing that she has cubs gives me another excuse to keep visiting.
The Isle of Purbeck is a peninsula on the southern tip of the the county of Dorset in England. The photographs I take, hopefully, help to express how I feel about this magical place and show you things which you may see if you come to visit. I am a full time, professional photographer and have a gallery in Swanage. Please feel free to click on the picture to see it larger or to look at my other photographs. www.purbeckfootprints.co.uk

Julian, sadly, this evening I noticed a female fox killed on the side of the road between the "Halfway Inn" and the Stoborough Wareham roundabout.
Even more sad was the fact that she was lying tummy toward me and she appeared to have "teets" that had been feeding young cubs. I don't think anything can be done but I thought I should just mention it.
I don't think she had been dead too long.
