More time spent as the Sun sets, this time on the sea shore by the Wellington Tower.
The wind is picking up, but the forecast for the weekend looks good.
I really need more time out with the camera and weekends are getting more and more important.
The Isle of Purbeck is a peninsula on the southern tip of the the county of Dorset in England. The photographs I take, hopefully, help to express how I feel about this magical place and show you things which you may see if you come to visit. I am a full time, professional photographer and have a gallery in Swanage. Please feel free to click on the picture to see it larger or to look at my other photographs. www.purbeckfootprints.co.uk

Seeing Red
As the evenings draw in the chance of a wander during the week becomes more and more remote.
Drive-by shootings are the order of the day and I tend to make do with what I can get.
So I was quite happy when I passed a small group of Red Deer in The New Forest.
We don't get these on the Isle of Purbeck so they are a bit of bonus for me.
No chance to change the settings on the camera, but this one came out ok.

Ahoy
At least a dozen Red Admirals made good use of the Buddleia, but you got the impression that their timing was all wrong!
The flowers were well past there best and there seemed to be too many butterflies!
I wonder how much the weather will effect them this year?
More Ladies Wot Lunch
Painted Lady and Red Admiral butterflies occupied the Buddleia this lunchtime giving me a chance to get out and play when I should be doing other things.
Hold On
There are plenty of little blue butterflies around at the moment and they all seem to have something on their minds!
Bells & Folk
If you have to have a folk festival, then Swanage must be one of the best places to have one.
Nice to see the town so busy of course, but I still find the whole thing a bit strange!

Ladies Wot Lunch
Just a very brief glimpse of a small group of Fallow Deer eating a New Forest farmer's profits.
I saw a couple from the car but there turned out to be about ten of them here, including a few little ones. Always good to see, even if they don't like posing!
Quiet but never silent.
