The Isle of Purbeck is a peninsula on the southern tip of the the county of Dorset in England. The photographs I take, hopefully, help to express how I feel about this magical place and show you things which you may see if you come to visit. I am a full time, professional photographer and have a gallery in Swanage.

Getting Closer to Dragons
We are coming to the end of Dragonfly season and, as the days get cooler, the chances of seeing one get worse and worse. And so, because I find these incredible creatures completely addictive, I thought I would post a few of my favourite close-ups.
You've nice sympetrum species in your 'neck of the woods'! S. danae (pic n°2 and last) is quite scare in the south of France and I have to drive long hours to have a chance to see it. Nice close ups, my favorite maybe is P. nymphula (N°3), but the Common darter on the heather is a must! Congratulations!
Fantastic colours and detail!
