After a day when The Purbeck was hit by fresh snow and the roads became a bit of a lottery it was good to go through the pictures I took during a more picturesque time. This is Anvil Point Lighthouse on a particularly beautiful morning earlier this month.
The Isle of Purbeck is a peninsula on the southern tip of the the county of Dorset in England. The photographs I take, hopefully, help to express how I feel about this magical place and show you things which you may see if you come to visit. I am a full time, professional photographer and have a gallery in Swanage. Please feel free to click on the picture to see it larger or to look at my other photographs. www.purbeckfootprints.co.uk

Are they looking for a lighthouse keeper? What a place. Boom & Gary.
That would be a my kind of job. It is a lovely place, but the cottages are now open for rent as holiday homes! Sign of the times I suppose.
Thanks, as always Gary.
